  1. Introduction to the pdpa

    1. In this “Personal Data Policy” is defined under the PDPA to means data whether is true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from the data and other information to which an organisation has or likely to have access.
    2. Example of such Personal Data you may provide to us include your name, NRIC, passport or other identification number, telephone number(s), addresses, and payment information and any other information relating to any individuals which you have provided us in any forms you may have submitted to us, or via other forms of interaction with you.
  2. Collection of Personal Data

    1. We collect Personal Data in the following ways:
      1. Register your Personal Details on our website
      2. When you interact directly to our customer service officer, for example, via telephone calls, letters, face-to-face meetings, emails or any other means ;
      3. When you conduct certain types of transaction such as refunds;
      4. When you request that we contact you, be included in an email or other mailing list
      5. When you respond to our promotion, initiatives or to any request of additional Personal Data
      6. When we receive references from business partners and third parties, for example, where you have been referred by them;
      7. When we seek information from third parties about you in connection with the Products you have applied for; and
      8. When you submit your Personal Data to us for any other reason.
    2. When you browse our website, you generally do so anonymously but please see the section below on cookies. Our website do not automatically collect Personal Data unless you provide such information or login with your account credentials.
    3. If you provide us with any Personal Data relating to a third party (e.g. information of your spouse, children, parents, and/or employee), by submitting such information to us, it represent to us that you have obtained the consent of the third party to provide us with their Personal Data for respective purposes.
    4. You should ensure that all Personal Data submitted to us is complete, accurate, true and correct. Failure on your part to do so may result in our inability to provide you with the Products and Services you requested.
  3. Purpose for the Collection, Use and Disclosure of Your Personal Data

    1. The Personal Data which we collect from you may be collected, used, discloses and/or processed for various purposes, depend on the circumstances for which we may/will need to process your personal data for the following purposes:
      1. To communicate with you about orders, products, services (or to enable third party Seller to do so);

      9. To prevent or detect fraud or abuses of Home101 and to enable third parties to carry out technical, logistical or other functions on our behalf.
  4. Disclosure of Personal Data

    1. Home101 will take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data against unauthorised disclosure. We does not sell, rent or release any Personal Data collected to any individuals, companies or groups. We only use your information for the purposes set out in Section 3 of this Privacy Policy. We may share your Personal Data with the following third parties, where necessary and always in compliance with this Privacy Policy and with applicable laws.
      1. Third Party Sellers. In order for the Third Party Seller to provide their services to you when you purchased products or enquire about purchasing products from the Third Party Seller.
      2. Third Party Service Providers. Home101 may need to share your information with certain Third Parties to perform services on our behalf, examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postage mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analysing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit card payment or other services to Home101.
      3. Law Enforcement Agencies. We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our rights; or protect the rights, property or safety of Home101, our users or others including you.
  5. Use of Cookies

    1. A cookie is a small piece of information stored on your computer when you visit certain websites which can be retrieved to identify you to Home101. These cookies will not give us any other Personal Data about you.
    2. Home101 uses cookies on its websites for the following purposes:
      1. To Enabling certain features and functions on our websites, examples include remembering your user-id, browsing and other services preferences;
      2. To customizing our website to your preferences;
      3. To improve navigation and to aggregate information.
    3. Your Internet Service Provider allocates an IP address to your computer or device in order to be able to access to the Internet. The IP address is considered to be Non-Personal Data and it may be dynamic (changing every time when you connect to the Internet) or it may be static (unique to your computer).
    4. Home101 is not responsible for the Personal Data policies (including Personal Data Protection and cookies), content or security of any Third Party website linked to the Home101 website.
  6. Withdrawal of Consent, Access and Correction of your Personal Data0

    1. If you:
      1. Would like to make corrections to your Personal Data, you may access it by editing their online membership profile or email.
      2. Would like to withdraw your consent to any use of your Personal Data as a set out in this Data Protection Policy, please contact Home101 as follows: Email: admin@aircold.sg
    2. Please note that if your Personal Data has been provided to us by a Third Party (e.g. a referrer), you should contact that organisation or individual to make such queries, complaints and access and correction request to Home101 on your behalf.
    3. If you withdraw your consent to any or all use of your Personal Data, depending on your nature of your request, Home101 may not be in a position to continue to provides its Products and Services to you.
  7. How Secure is my Personal Data?

    1. We will take reasonable efforts to ensure that your Personal Data is complete and accurate, if your Personal Data is likely to be used by Home101 to make a decision that affects you, or disclosed to another organisation. However, this means that you must also update us of any changes of your Personal Data that you had initially provided us with. We will not be responsible for relying on inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data from you not updating us of any changes in your Personal Data that you initially provided us with. It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when you finish using a shared computer.
    2. We will put in place reasonable security arrangement to ensure that your Personal Data is adequately protected and secured. Appropriate security measures will be taken to prevent unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, leakage, loss, damage and/or alteration of your Personal Data.
  8. Marketing

    1. You may choose to stop receiving email, direct mail, phone and mobile marketing communications. If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please adjust your preferences or use the unsubscribe function on marketing materials.
